My wife and I reached out to Scott in the spring of 2006 to get some ideas of how to finish our dream basement. My wife and I built a home in Lakeville nine years ago. When we built, we had a large deck made of cedar added to the back of the home. At the nine year point we decided that we wanted to improve the looks of the deck and hopefully make it more maintenance free.
I work for a leading Property Management company in the Twin Cities area and we utilize subcontractors of all professions to remodel and improve our properties. When I began my search for someone to handle our project I naturally went to the person in our company who works with vendors looking for a recommendation. The vendor that came most highly recommended for our project was Scott and Titus Contracting. We did, of course, look at other vendors but when it came time to choose, Scott and Titus Contracting was by far the one to choose. When it came to design and materials my wife and I had some rather non-traditional ideas but were unsure how to put them all together to get the deck we wanted. Scott was very helpful and patient with us throughout the entire project and most specifically during the design phase. We wanted to combine glass with rock-like foam cast pillars to accentuate the landscape in our yard and blend that with a floor boarding that would last a long time without fading and be a color that would tie itself together well with the existing colors of our home. Once we decided on design and materials the construction began and it was on more than one occasion construction had to stop because our design ran up against obstacles that could not have been foreseen. Scott’s creativity and experience was what got us past these hurdles and on to the finish line. Bottom line, when the deck was complete our expectations had been surpassed. We are extremely pleased with the work Scott and his team put forth on our project. We were very pleased in all areas including quality of work done, timeliness, cost and customer service.
