TITUS CONTRACTING DESIGN PROCESS
BUILDING EXCELLENCE FUELED BY YOUR DREAMS…- We first review your remodeling project details with you to identify your goals and preferences. We then define your project in terms of separate needs, wants, and wishes as we work on the preliminary budget.
- Next the designer will meet with you and dimensions will be taken, finished product discussed, and overall look identified to allow us to come back with a scope of work and investment range for your project.
- We complete the preliminary scope of work and provide you with our anticipated investment range broken down by the needs, wants, and wishes you shared with us. We review your building or remodeling project together and decide which parts will be included in your design concept work. We formalize the project with a signed Project Development Agreement to ensure that we have a complete understanding, and we get the design underway!
- The design work starts with conceptual plans that we provide to you. The concepts we present to you will include; floor plans, elevations, 3-D color perspectives to allow you to see and “feel” what the completed project will look like.
- We meet again! We usually can present your ideas turned into plans through email. You decide what things you like from each concept and we combine them into a plan that fulfills your remodeling dreams. The architectural drawings are completed to the point that they can be used at a project open house. When it is agreed that we have your design captured we will meet to review the actual prints.
- We conduct an open house with all the sub-contractors and material suppliers that will be involved. You, the homeowner, can ask questions of the sub-contractors and in turn they can ask you questions. We thoroughly study the whole construction process to do our very best to uncover any potential construction issues as well as additional ideas the subcontractors may have to offer.
- As Titus Contracting is collecting all the bids from our subs you are out doing your part, selecting all the finishes such as; carpet, tile, cabinets, counter tops, plumbing fixtures, light fixtures.
- The bids are all collected along with your selections and you are presented with a complete scope of work and the home improvement agreement that goes along with that scope. Together we fine tune all specifics to meet the investment you feel comfortable with. When we have a final scope that fits your final needs, wants and wishes as well as fits inside your investment parameters we sign the paperwork and the permitable drawings are completed.
- We finalize a schedule, finish any selections not yet made, and go to permitting
